NOT TRULLY CROSS-PLATFORM
Do not buy this app, which is, let’s be frank, REALLY expensive as apps go, if you hope to use it across platforms. Mental Case 1 would at least sync correctly across wireless. This version doesn’t sync correctly for me AT ALL. Further the icould sync process causes the app to crash quite frequently when I’m in the middle of using the app.
I agree with an older review that this app is almost good—if all I wanted to do was use it on my macbook. But if you want to sync between eg a mac and an iPad, forget it.
Further, this situation has been ongoing for a very long time, both under their original bespoke attempt at syncing, and under the new icloud one.
A final complaint is that their email support is prompt, but often VERY snarky. Instead of just admitting they have a massive problem over some issue, they have frequently put me through multiple attempts at fixes, but never actually acknowledged that there’s a fundamental problem. Further, they often tell me that something is in the in-app manual. Sometimes it is there, but most often, for slightly more complicated issues, it isn’t there, or it’s incomprehensible. And, to the point, I HAVE A BSC IN COMPUTER SCIENCE—if I can’t figure it out, most people won’t.
So, MENTAL FACULTY, fix your app, and, especially, fix your attitude.
